Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Danelle, the owner and creative heart behind Simply Blooming.
Over the past two years working in floristry, I’ve developed a true love for creating designs that connect with people. I’m inspired by colour, texture, and the way flowers can express emotion—whether it’s joy, love, sympathy, or celebration.
I also bring an extensive background in customer service, which is at the core of everything we do. Ensuring our customers feel looked after and confident in their choices is incredibly important to me—whether we’re hand-selecting the perfect blooms or helping you choose a thoughtful gift.
Alongside floristry, I am the creator of a well-known candle brand in Australia, Collective Candles, which is now stocked exclusively at Simply Blooming. This has allowed me to bring together my passion for both florals and gifting, offering a carefully curated in-store experience.
Our Team
Behind Simply Blooming is a highly experienced and passionate team, each bringing their own speciality and decades of knowledge to our work.
Deb brings over 30 years of floristry experience and has a deep passion for celebration of life flowers. She loves creating funeral tributes, and has extensive experience in designing meaningful and heartfelt arrangements that honour loved ones, with care and sensitivity.
Tanya has more than 25 years of experience and a true love for weddings and funeral flowers. She is known for her attention to finer detail, creating elegant and beautifully refined wedding florals and arrangements.
Debra also brings over 25 years of experience, having grown up in floristry and learning from her mother. Her lifelong connection to flowers is reflected in her natural creativity and strong eye for colour.
And keeping everything running smoothly is Janet, our dedicated driver, who ensures your flowers and gifts arrive safely and on time across New Plymouth and Taranaki.
